There were doubts on Nemrut Dagi as it is pretty much out of the way of my intended travel route. Turns out that all the early hours, chilly ascend and long bus ride from Goreme is worth it after all. The mausoleum of Antiochus reveals its full splendor as the sun rises. Just remember to bring warm clothing even during summer to properly enjoy the mystical surroundings.
