On our first full day in Jamaica we made the drive from Treasure Beach to Alligator Pond to dine on Jamaica's best seafood at Little Ochi. Such a wonderful and relaxed place. Many Kingstonians come to Alligator Pond for a day on the beach and some very fresh and plentiful fruits of the sea...

I loved this image. The absence of vibrant colors suggested that it be taken to complete monochrome, after which (using GIMP) I did a slight cropping and some selective dodging and burning to bring out some shadow details (the boats on the beach) and accentuate the two people by taking them to virtual silhouettes. I did this not to attempt to create a better image, but to show a different way of presenting this one. All respect to the original!
