Pilgrimage to Mashhad by Akbar Shafiee (555) 2006-08-18 - 2006-08-24

Travelling to Mashhad by car and passing so many other cities.Mashhad is the most important religious city for Iranians, as the holy shrine of the 8th Shi'itte Muslim leader, Imam Reza, is located there. Located in the north-east of Iran, we had to cross Semnan, Damghan, Shahrood, Sabzevar & Neishabour to reach this holy city and I took so many photos from whatever I confronted in these cities. On the way back, we chose the northern path that crossed Bojnourd, Gorgan & Gonbad. Here, I'm going to upload only some the photos taken in this trip. We passed 6 provinces in this trip. (18 photos)
