- I recently returned from a fantastic three-month stay in Madagascar, working with a charity called the Dodwell Trust, then travelling a bit. I am currently taking a gap year before university, and hope I can travel somewhere else before September. Istanbul, Athens, Venice, Rome, China and Egypt are high on my list of want-to-go places.
I am by no means a really practiced photographer, and have no pretensions to artistic or technical greatness, so I'm hoping TrekEarth will help me improve. I therefore appreciate all criticism, good or bad.
A great love of mine is history, which luckily complements my love of travelling very well. My photos are therefore mostly architecture-based.
My current camera is just an ordinary digital camera - an Olympus C-500 - although it did once survive being forgotten in a field for two weeks, so maybe it has some kind of special robustness. - Member Since
