- Wahid Adnan’s obsession with photography developed in seeing a single photo named ‘Behind the Gare St. Lazare’ of Henri Cartier Bresson, one of the founder members of most prestigious photo agency Magnum. Then, he started shooting photographs of whatever he liked. Later, in 2005, he did the basic course of photography in The Photoart Institute, in Chittagong. He won awards in 66th and 67th International Photographic Salon of Japan (Asahi Shimbun) held in 2005 and 2006 respectively, organized by THE ALL-JAPAN ASSOCIATION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCITIES (AJAPS). In 2007, Adnan participated a Workshop organized by DrikNEWS, an international news photo agency that based in Bangladesh. This workshop turned Adnan from art photographer to documentary photographer.
