Photographer's Note

The physics of the color Why an object appears to us; a certain color? We will answer this question by studying impact a light on surface an object. A source of light clarifies a place, an object: luminous rays start from this source, will strike object, and return jusqu' in our eye: we see! There exist various types of lights, which are various colors (for example, there exist lights red, blue, or even orange!). We will carry out a study in white light here. Here the spectrum of the visible lights by eye: such rainbow, it extends from the red to with the purple one. The part of the radiations that is seen; call: visible light. There exists other kinds of radiations which are not visible by eye: beyond the purple one, there are the ultra-violets, then x-rays and the gamma rays. In on this side red, there are the infra-reds. There exist two types of colors: the monochromatic colors (which are made up only one color), and polychromatic colors (composed by association of several colors). One will especially retain for the continuation that the white light obtains by mixing all the other colors. The light is reflected on surface an object, then arrives in our eye: is at this time; is seen; object. The color an object is together light radiations that this one returns. Known as differently, the color of an object is together light radiations that this one did not absorb. Wikipdia source
