Photographer's Note
Shekhawati is a semi-arid region located in the northeast part of Rajasthan.
The rural areas of the Shekhawati are dominated by farming communities. They are considered to be the most advanced in the state of Rajasthan, second only to farmers from Ganga Nagar and Hanumangarh districts. The region has the highest literacy in the state.

Hello André,
Eh bien dis-moi !
Incroyable !

Hi Andre,
I wonder how they get such a load on and off.
It almost seem if they were posing for you with the man on top of it has a great smile. Your title is very funny and it really looks like it.
Light was hard here but you managed well...nice shot.

Excellent coup d'oeil mon Ami.
Ciao

...two months traveling southern Europe and you come up with a giant marshmallow from India...
Well, let's see - it's original, most definitely. I haven't seen many marshmallow shots from India lately...and none done with so much technical "prowess"...so to speak. Love the marshmallow farmer sitting on top of his proudest crop and his smile emphasizes his attitude. His son, driving the tractor, showing the pride he has in his fathers prize crop and the tractor looks like it was just washed and shined to parade the attraction around town.
Other than that, color and composition is flawless as usual. A proud moment not often seen in the world of marshmallows...a great catch and moment you have captured perfectly.
Great work.

Man, I am still waiting for your pictures from Tuscany... You will post them here, right? If not, I want to see them in my mailbox... pleeeeeeeease....
This one is a decent picture. I will not get crazy about it. Let me just say it's a fine photo. ;)

Bonne journee,
Jean-Yves

Great shot, Andre, technically very good and I like how you have been able to compose this without a lot of clutter (often hard to do in India as you would well know). As John Paskey pointed out, the tractor looks very well maintained for India (as does the road). Cheers . . . David

Not much more to say about this one, but incredible. And an apt title. I wish I saw this when I was in Rajasthan. Not only is this interesting, you composed this perfectly, with the marshmallow coming toward the viewer.
Perfect,
David

Hi André,
You must have been very glad when you found this subject, captured it from a good position you chose.
Wonderful shot that show us the local life with a surprise. Color is also very nice thanks to a fine day.
I'm in non-landscape mode now.
