Photographer's Note

While most of the beach was covered in polished driftwood, there were areas strangely bare. This log reflected on the damp sand appeared to be attempting to claw its way back into the water.

A beautiful B&W landscape shot. the contrast - particularly in the sky - is excellent. The only thing I'd be tempted to change is the horizon, maybe a slight rotation to the right, otherwise it's great.
