the day was again heavily overcast in Paris but as i was walking by I was stuck by the contrast between the bright yellow of the statues and the rest of the picture that, because of the day conditions, was very dim and monochromatic. I also liked somewhat the composition.

This is a very good composition. I like the almost B&W mood against the golden elements. Nice job.

Really nice composition, great atmosphere but IMHO the depth of field is too short: the Invalides are not neat enough. But maybe these is because of the weather conditions ? Did you try to improve these using photoshop or any other software ?
Anyway, nice shoot, congratulations
