Photographer's Note

Taken yesterday at sunset from the Newcastle side of the River Tyne looking east towards newcastles famous bridges. I turned this shot from vivid colour to black and white because today i had been looking at photographs from the Tyne from Ship building days when a constant fog hund over the river and the bridges regularily got lost in the famous fog on the tyne. This shot reminds me of one of those shots and i feel the black and white holds the historical drama much better than a colour version which ive posted as a workshop for you to see the original sunset.
