Ha'penny Bridge, a photo from Dublin, South

Photographer's Note

This bridge is located at the exact city-centre of Dublin. Ha'penny (offically Wellington Bridge) is most famous and most romantic bridge in Dublin. Its not-so-romantic name came from the crossing fare which amounted to exacly one half-penny. It was the only pedestrian bridge on the Liffey untill year 2000.

Hi Marta.
This picture is beautiful. Love the colors and the reflections in the water. My only suggestion would be to get at a different angle and have the row of buildings in the shot, maybe visible above the bridge (although that may not have been possible).

Welcome to TrekEarth! This is a very nice first posting, from Dublin where I live. The colours are beautiful, the reflections look like a painting. Bridge itself is maybe a little unsharp.

Did you have a holiday in Dublin? Actually we have about 100,000 Polish people working in Ireland now (about 50 work in my company), in fact I am told that Polish is Ireland's second most spoken language now!

A nice shot, but I would have framed it lower, to do not cut the beautiful reflexion in the bottom. Anyway, it's beautiful.

Hi Marta,
Good sunset (am I right?) colours. Just couple of thinks: I'd cut the sky and move POV down, under the bridge so as the bridge and its reflection as if frame the picture and the houses are in two rows - in air and in water. In any case good shot and welcome to TE. Regards. Denis.

Hello, Marta. This is an interesting shot of that famous Dublin landmark. You've caught an interesting sky and very good light in the houses. Like it's often the case with such pictures, the reflections seem to be sharper than the objects reflected. But this remains a good shot!

Czesc Marta.
Ladnie Ci sie wkomponował w kadr most z kanalem i budynkami z odbiciem w Liffey. Chmurki dodaja smaku kompozycji. Świetnie wygladaloby to zdjecie, gdyby udalo sie uchwycic moment bez ludzi na moscie (co jest trudne o takiej porze, przyznaje).

Witaj,
Świetnie uchwycony moment. Liffey rzadko jest tak gładka, by było widać wyraźne odbicie. Do tego ładne kolory (tuż przed zachodem Słońca?). Podobnie jak Tracker, przesunąłbym obiektyw w dуł, żeby było widać całe odbicie. Ale i tak wyszedł interesujący widok.

Love this shot, I've taken so many pictures of this bridge, but none have come out as good as this. You we're lucky to get a sky that you could balance with the rest of the image.
