Photographer's Note
Sears Tower And Neighboring Buildings, Chicago, IL
In the middle bottom is the Sears Tower. Standing at about 1,450 feet (412 meters) and 110 stories high, it is the tallest building in North America and the third tallest building in the world. It offers more than 3.8 million square feet of office and retail space.
There's an observation deck at the 103rd floor from where you will see an amazing 40-50 miles (65-80 km) of expanse on a clear day. See Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin altogether in one visit!
Get up there!
Took with a fisheye lens then I wanted to do sepia on this one but tweaked the yellow more ...

Bonjour Ken,
originalité des couleurs, originalité du POV et du cadrage, voilà qui rend des toures banales, très esthétiques.
Bravo.
Daniel.

Very interesting shot. It's a good idea to have used a 10.5mm for this picture. That give the gidiness.

Excellent spot to use this lens to highlight all the skyscrapers around the Sears Tower. It all is well focused on the Sears tower, though, despite all we see. The steep perspective draws the eye into this photo almost like a spiral. The inclusion of a street lamppost was a good idea to enhance the contrast from small scale to huge scale. It's an interesting bit of work you did on the sky, too. Sort of apocalyptic especially in how natural it looks in its artificiality. Nice work all around Ken.
I haven't made it to Chicago yet but hopefully before the winter sets in.

The Colour tone for this dream-like shot is superb. I was delighted to see the inclusion of the traffic light and 'one way' signpost (which I think looks amazing from the fisheye perspective)
Was this taken with a Lomo / Holga type camera?

Good use of the fisheye. Love the deep yellow filter you have put through the sky. Works well.

fantastic picture, the colour yellow very well chosen, the POV very original and artistic, good composure with sign and traffic light but quite clear and free from too many things to focus on.great contrasts for the bottom right hand corner buildings too. congratulation!
