Photographer's Note

Cathedral of Sгo Pedro de Alcвntara - Constructed with equipped rocks and granite, the church follows French the Gуtico style of Century XVIII. On the altar of bronze and marble, it has a cross made with the black granite of the Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. In the center of the altar it has a marble tablet, weighing about three tons, on which they are the statues of Dom Pedro II and Dona Teresa Cristina, offered to the church for the Baronesa de Sгo Joaquim. To the deep one of the chapel, in the laterals, meet the sculptures of the Princesa Isabel and of the Conde D'Eu. The cathedral was constructed in 1884 by order of Dom Pedro II, that it dedicated the church the Sгo Pedro de Alcвntara, patron saint of the Brazilian Empire.

Hi Marcelo. Great use of symmetry here. I like the POV with our heads cranked way back because it shows us the height of this beautiful cathedral. The only thing that could possibly be improved is the sky. Well done Marcelo!

Olб Marcelo, gostei da nota! Uma coisa que eu vejo achado dificil й escolher angulos para fotos de igrejas! Pois acabam ficando todas muito parecidas, vou comeзar a optar por fotografar apenas partes delas, como nessa sua, onde vocк colocou apenas a parte de cima da igreja! Gostei da foto!

L'angle de prise-de-vue est bien choisi pour mettre en йvidence une partie de cette cathйdrale.
Cependant l'aspect du ciel n'est pas trиs naturel et je me suis autorisй d'effectuer un petit travail de maniиre а ne pas dйnaturaliser la composition.
