Photographer's Note

A glimpse from my leisurely stroll through the narrow alley of Nabeul old medina and one of the first things noticeable are this particularly interesting blue and white colours. Not as pretty but strikingly cheerful
nonetheless which actually grabbed my interest as seen from this viewpoint.

I love venturing and capturing the one moment that could tell a story or two, combined with a real traditional Tunisian architecture of the medina, a place has lots to see, lots to shoot in a relaxing mood and importantly, I've always found the people to be very pleasant and welcoming..

Setting: 10 mm, 1/60 sec, F8, ISO Raw 200, 1529 hrs

Hello abmdsudi,

Again, you used the wide-angle excellently to capture these narrow-alleys. The colours are really nice, with the blue walls and the vivid scarfs. I also like the human presence.

PS: I wanted to ask, whether you use your archives or your camera simply resets and doesn't remember the date? It always shows 2010/2011

An excellent impression from the narrow streets of this town. The blue and white of the walls is attractive and the scarves on the right also add some other fine colours. Good inclusion of the two children who came just around the corner as well.

Hello Abmdsudi,

The blue and white colours remind me of Greece or even Chefchaouen in Morocco. The colorful cloths at right balance the composition and the bonus of the 2 boys approaching did not go unnoticed. Tfs and a safe and Merry Xmas to you!

Beautiful blue and white door and facade would have made for a great photo even on their own but you added a fantastic splash of colour in form of the scarves flying in the wind and the two boys, perfectly placed and timed, make it really special.

this is one of those great impromptu type of shots, you can't really duplicate it. the old medina must have lots of hidden gems like this. did you here the people coming and you got ready? I'd like to know more about how the shot developed. excellent colors and brightness in the tight corridors. cheers
