The train pulled in to the Kitchener City Hall station. For those waiting the opening-day free ride on the LRT it would be somewhat disappointing. There was room to take on only three more passengers. The service staff guided unloading and loading, replete with smiles and banter. Once ready, the driver moved the train forward away from the stop and on to the next one - at Central Station. I thought it a most successful launching for LRT, marking the start of a new era.
