nice the panoramic view of the place with the Museum of Civilisations of Europe to dominating the scene with the castle on its right to complete perfect the whole scenery.The warm light enhance even more the beauty of the image.

Hello Philippe,
The wide angle offered by the smartphone encompasses an interesting ensemble of varied architecture. The dark tones of the new museum stick out like a sore thumb against the predominant yellows and blues and make an effective focal point. Lights and colours are both very agreeable to view.

This is a spectacular view with interesting contrasts between light and dark buildings and very different styles of architecture. The colours and clarity are excellent and it's a perfectly exposed photo.

A fascination combination of this modern architecture of the new museum and the traditional architecture in the neighbourhood. I always appreciate these combinations of old and new for it show us a living city.

L'йtendue de la ville donne de la profondeur а la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails du musйe, des remparts, de la tour et des immeubles. La bonne luminositй met en valeur la beautй des couleurs. Bon dimanche.

Gorgeous how the golden light warmly illuminates the face of the grand edifice with excellent features throughout. The blue sky and water contrast so superbly against the setting turning this to a subtle capture. Lovely shot, Congrats.

Beautifully employed the bright daylight to distinct the modern edifice from the old walls and tower on right. City sky line beyond gave extra dimension in depth.
Smartphone producing excellent photos, so I did experience myself many times already. Yet, it all depend on the POV, light and the timing. Superb outcome on picture.

A beautiful view of Marseille. The sunlight was so appealing here. The photo is full of contrasts, like the blue of the sky and the golden tones of the city as well as the modern museum architecture and the old port. Very well captured.

I have never visited Marseilles but your photograph certainly gives me a good impression of the old port, where contrasts between the styles of old and new are very graphic.
I like how you have captured the sunlight on the old, city walls, emphasising the tower and linking to the dome beyond.

questa foto mi era sfuggita.
Sono stato a Marsiglia nel 2012 grazie al gentile invito di Gigi e, insieme a tanti altri amici, ho scoperto questa cittа.
In quel momento la cittа era tutta un cantiere, stavano lavorando per ottenere quello che oggi tu ci mostri.
Dovrei tornare a vedere come si и trasformata la cittа.
Bella luce calda, mi piace molto.
