Photographer's Note

Zappeion is an establishment in the centre of Athens. It is the heritage of Evangelos Zappas, and is used by the Greek state to host a series of very important occassions, such as the Greek Presidency of the EU in 2014, the signing ceremony of Greece's joining agreement with the European Economic Community back in 1981 and many more. It is also used as an exhibition centre. In the 19th century it was used as the place where Olympias (a revival of the Ancient Olympic Games) took place. That was before 1896 and the first modern Olympics. This picture is a frame taken by a 4K video shot with my drone. It is downscaled to 3500 horizontal pixels. In the background we can see Lecabettus hill.
