Photographer's Note

An old deep into his thoughts during Pushkar Camel Fai.He had come to take a dip in holy pond of Pushkar which is believed to bring salvation.I was busy taking portraits during fair and found him interesting with his long beard and twilight falling on his face.

Folk dances,puppet show,camel race,horse race etc are also organized in the fair.Fair also has a pilgrimage value and thousand of devotees take a dip in holy pond to attain salvation.Pushkar Camel fair is perfect opportunity to shoot traditional indian lifestyle portraits.

Wow Narender, Love this, great how you have filled the left side of the frame with the tight crop, the light is super, especially where it hits his beard, so much life lived in those eyes, bet he could tell a few stories, Well done, Cheers Iain.

the tight framing and beautiful golden light work very well to add impact to this portrait, I like it a lot. I might have tried bringing out the eyes a little more, and then slightly sharpening the image, but those are minor points.
