Rovigno (in croato Rovinj, in istrioto Ruvиigno o Ruveоgno) и una cittа di 14.367 abitanti dell'Istria sud-occidentale, in Croazia. Sorge su una costa frastagliata e fronteggiata da scogli ed isolotti a sud del Canale di Leme, tra Parenzo e Pola.

Dista in linea d'aria circa 105 km da Venezia, 65 km da Trieste, 125 da Marina di Ravenna e 155 dal Porto di Ancona.
La Chiesa di Sant'Eufemia fu costruita nel 1736 utilizzando materiale proveniente da due antichi edifici preesistenti: sul fondo della navata laterale destra si trova la statuetta di Santa Eufemia mentre il suo sarcofago, risalente al VI secolo, и collocato alle spalle dell'altare maggiore. La piщ antica chiesa cittadina и perт la romanica Chiesetta della Santissima Trinitа, a pianta eptagonale, collocata in Piazza del Laco. И presente una piccola pinacoteca che mostra principalmente quadri di origine veneta (XVIII secolo), ed un acquario.

Rovinj (Rovinj in Croatian, in Istriot Ruvиigno or Ruveоgno) is a city of 14,367 inhabitants south-west of Istria, in Croatia. It stands on a rugged coastline and fronted by rocks and small islands south of the Lim Channel between Poreč and Pula.

As the crow flies is 105 km from Venice, 65 km from Trieste, 125 from Marina di Ravenna and 155 from the port of Ancona.
The Church of St. Euphemia was built in 1736 using material from two old existing buildings: The bottom of the right aisle is the statue of Santa Eufemia, while his sarcophagus, dating from the sixth century, is located behind the main altar . The oldest church in town, however, is the Romanesque church of the Holy Trinity, heptagonal in plan, located in Piazza del Laco. There is a small art gallery showing mainly paintings of Venetian origin (eighteenth century), and an aquarium.

Zdravo Zeljka. Cuo sam od Santa (skippy007) da znades po naski.Lipo svitlo na ovoj slici i fini momenat kad su turisti posli spati i lokalni narod ima malo mira, a glatki kamen kale daje impresiju da su stoljeca vec prosla u tom mistu.Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Hi Zeljka,
very good low light photo at street with a low chosen POV...like the framing here by the sitting persons & the little dog in the passage in-between the buildings...
very good light management with nice color but I think it needs slight sharpness more...

I was in Rovinj last year and it is a delightful small town. You show here very nice capture from lower POV, rendering beautiful the atmosphere of it. Nice reflections in the big shiny stones, interesting scene. Well done

Ciao Desy, Klaudio cosa dice? Vedo il mio nome ma non capisco niente, nemmeno google traduttore e riuscito a capirlo, scherzo e da abbastanza tempo che lo conosco, anzi eravamo insieme Domenica, fotografare, chiacchierare, mangiare etc etc. Volevo dire e un bravo ragazzo ma e quasi della mia etа :) ogni modo e bravo e simpatico. La foto, carina con il cagnolino seduto che sta guardandoti, li hai chiesto per il sorriso? Bella luce naturale e ben gestita, scena ben costrutta con le pietre (marmo d'Istria?) nel primo piano lucide come me le ricordo di averle viste nei piccoli paesi in Croazia, certo i due uomini con il cagnolino (terrier maltese) completano questa bellissima scena. Brava, complimenti.

Ciao Desy, mi piace il POV basso che da piщ profonditа all'immagine, hai scelto uno scatto non facile da fare...vista la scarsa luce che c'era, probabilmente hai appoggiato la camera in terra...il risultato и piacevole anche se un pт fuori fuoco, mi piace la texture della pavimentazione, buona serata, Valter

Come sempre hai dei POV originali e creativi (ti immagino stesa sulla strada che fai la fotografia a un centimetro da terra!) :-))) ma il risultato и ottimo e piacevole. Una deliziosa scena di strada con il cagnolino che ti guarda, come se fosse in posa per la foto. Molto bella, bravissima!

Une intйressante perspective, avec un bon cadrage et une belle scиne de vie. Avec une pose longue, tu aurais pu (je pense) fermer un peu plus ton diaphragme pour avoir plus de profondeur... ou peut кtre changer la mise au point...

Hello Zeljka,
This is a nice and original view of the narrow street. The crowds of tourists have disappeared into the restaurants or back to their hotels and only two men and a dog remain. From your very low POV you capture the light of the lamps very nicely on the slippery stones. The look up between the houses towards the dark sky gives the street a very cosy atmosphere.

Doveroso mettere ancora l'accento su questo POV semplicemente straordinario; incredibile la resa della pavimentazione che altrimenti non avrebbe avuto un ruolo cosм importante.

Okay, the picture is not overall
sharp (f 2.8 + 1/4 sec), but the
light management and the composition
are beautiful. The lower point of view
creates a beautiful depth and
atmosphere....Good work.
