Photographer's Note

Here is an original POV at the end of the day on the modern light at the end of Garlahy pier at the entry of La Turballe harbour, one of the most important fishing harbours on french atlantic coast. This pier was built in 1894, it had a lighthouse at its end. In 1958 the pier was extended. The former lighthouse was turned into a daymark and a new light was set up at the end of the pier on a iron turret. This light was replaced in 2002 by the modern light you can see on the photo.

I wish a happy new year 2012 to all TE members !
