Photographer's Note
Or relatively new, I guess. Most of the buildings around the Roman baths were built in the 1700s. Fairly new for Europe. Really, really old for Texas.
We got to the Roman baths about an hour before they closed, so we didn't really get to see a lot of it. I think I would have appreciated the museum more if we'd had more time. But this view made up for the lack of time.
The only part of this scene from Roman times is the pool down below and the ground level. The buildings around the pool are from the 18th Century, and the church in the distance (Bath Abbey) is from the 16th Century.

Hello Clark,
this is a Bath classic view, but brilliant colours and perfect reflections in the windows make your shot very special.
Best regards

Hi Clark
The light is just right as we see details in both the shadows and the sunlit areas. Nicely composed with the lines of the walkway leading towards the church in the BG. I was smiling here as I read the first line of your bio that says "I'm a nature guy" and up pops an image of architecture. So where is the polar bear? ;))
