Photographer's Note
Another shot of Buchaille Etive Mor, possibly the most photographed lump of rock in the UK. I think this is a better shot than my previous attempts so popped it up. This spot is reached by hiking a short way from the mountain rescue helicopter pad by the A82.

It may be the most photographed lump of rock in the UK, but that doesn't mean it can't be photographed again :-)
Every image is different and I like the real sense of cold in this one. The wispy cloud over the top of the mountain also hints back to its volcanic origins.
It would have been nice if the right side wasn't in such deep shadow, but a wonderful image all the same.

Very photographed especially from this perspective :)
I am no fan of the water mellowed out shots so its good to see not too much of that on here
It works really well using a longer exposure and a pin prick of an apature seems to have brought out the details well here
I like it

Hello Davy,
I like your POV and the way you used the wide-angle.
Great DOF and good light management. The frost on the grass in the FG is pretty, as is the cloud.
TFS and have a good 2010!
