These ladies are having an outdoor lunch in the beautiful sunshine, eating pita bread, probably filled with salad and falafel. It could also have been kebab...

There are plenty of small stands here at Kungstorget (Kings Market) selling all kinds of fast food. This market used to be a bastion, called Johannes Dux, in the fortification of Gothenburg. Only the moat remains today, and the outlines of the bastions, as you can see on the map here.

This photo was taken yesterday, when we had sunshine but quite cold weather. There was even a very thin crust of ice on the moat. It was strong enough for seagulls to stand on it, look at the WS.

Today we had snow and milder... Typical Gothenburg weather!
