Photographer's Note

An old house is on Johan Adolf Pengel Straat (also known as Wanica Straat) and behind of typical Surinamese garden greens. You may remember the name “Johan Adolf Pengel” from my earlier posts here: Flight KL714 and Flight KL713

A lot houses build with wood by the effect of Amazon rain forest. Visitors also can see Dutch colonization's impact on architecture as every where on daily life in Suriname.

This is original, no crop and untouched (except resize, sharpness) frame.

The house may not look very wealthy, but with that beautiful garden it looks like a wonderful place.
The pov and colors are great, as usual. I like the graphical symetry "broken" by the diversity of plants.

The vegetation frames these windows with their closed shutters so well. The wooden house and the lush green vegetation contrast well. A nice sharp image too.

Wonderful colors here. Nice to see the shot untocuhed. The contrast between the brilliant greens and the dull color of the wood adds alot of interest. I'd love to have a yard filled with exotic plants such as these.

I like this wooden facade where the horizontal lines have a dialogue with vertical lines framed by the explosion of the vegetation.
