A lot houses build with wood by the effect of Amazon rain forest. Visitors also can see Dutch colonization's impact on architecture as every where on daily life in Suriname.

Simple picture simply taken and I like such simplicity. The house though looking run down is looking photogenic because of that blue window which again rhymes with the blue sky above.

Hi Ertugrul,
you're a real chrioniquer of Surinam on this site. I like the way you show us houses like this in a simple but good way.
It's good to see that the state of this house is not neglected by the people who live there and that they try to make the best of it. Starting with the windows.

Very nice indeed, awesome colors, beautiful window. It's funny how such a poor hut can look so charming.
Too bad for the noise on the sky, much surprising in the overall perfection of the image.

a rather very old house but so clean and pleasing- i was kinda doubtful if it is still being occupied; but after seeing the colored window and the curtain, i am certain it still is!! i like this composition! clear, bright, beautiful!

Hi Ertugrul,
You have captured a wonderful contrast in this simple but captivating photo. The brillian blue sky and white coluds along with the blue windows give this otherwise drab home a lively feel.

Simple, but very appealing. The strong blue colors contrast so well with the rust on the roof and those again contrast so well with the sky and the trees in the background. The only missing detail would be a kid or someone peeking out of the door.
