Inca Trail V, a photo from Cusco, South

Photographer's Note

In the morning of the third day, suddenly, those organically shaped ruins emerged from the dense fog. The site was intrigous as there was no way other than the sound to feel the deepness of the valley behind. On the foreground, a part of the roof as been rebuild as it was in the time this site was habited.

no modification (my camera didn't lie on the atmosphere on this one)

Durant la matinйe du troisiиme jour, nous sommes arrivйs soudainement parmi ces ruines aux formes organiques йmergeant parmi un йpais brouillard. Il n'y avait aucun autre moyen que le son pour deviner la profondeur de la vallйe tout juste derriиre. А l'avant-plan, on voit une partie du toit qui a йtй reconstruit selon les techniques du temps oщ ce lieu йtait habitй. (а suivre)

aucune modification (ma camйra n'a pas menti sur l'atmosphиre lourde)

Wow - you could think it's an underwater shot. The blues are very unusual.

Like a mystic place. The fog is light-blue in some places of your picture, seems like if it where illuminated from below. Do you know the name of this ruin? Good picture.

Very mystical atmosphere you captured here. I was in Peru 2 years ago and your picture reminds me of it (only I did not have a good camera with me; how nice you did this. I like how everything seems to dissapear in the fog and hides the depth of the valley. Could indeed use a bit of colour saturation.

Un image qui capte trиs bien la lourdeur(sp?) du brouillard qui entoure ces ruins Inca.Le travaille impliquй pour construire sur de tels pentes est incroyable et bien enregistrй par ta photo.Le trou au fond servait pour voir l`enemiй qui s`approchait?
