Photographer's Note

The Magic Water Circuit, located in Parque de la Reserva, is a wonderful set of 13 ornamental, cybernetic and interactive fountains where water, music, light, images and laser effects, in perfect conjunction and harmony, are mixed to present unique and incredible spectacles, full of magic, illusion and fantasy.

One of these fountains is called Laberinto de los Ensueсos (Maze of Dreams) and consists of water dispensers that spout water from time to time randomly. The goal is to reach the middle of the circle and leave it without getting wet. In the workshop, we can see the maze at the moment when there is no water and the photo of a girl who was not able to achieve the goal.

What a great place, the illuminated fountain looks so beautiful with its golden tones and the people walking in between them are very well included. Fantastic exposure too, great work!

This is a beautiful night photo, with perfect exposure. I like the dancing water and the golden lights. It's nice to see the people walking through the fountain, trying to get to the middle and stay dry. :-)

This is a fine set of photos. Testing this fountain looks like great fun, at least for children. I would prefer to watch others get wet rather than trying it myself. The people and the illuminations create a great atmosphere which you captured well with good exposure and sharpness.

personally, i don't have any fond memories from Lima, but thats just me :)

I do however enjoy your photo here. did anyone NOT get wet?
it would sound fun actually, i have to admit.
the darkened area surrounding the fountain makes the scene work so well. excellent playful image with illumination.

An interesting composition of a lot going on. They certainly know how to enjoy themselves within the water fountain, light and tones are manageable with good contrast of colour against dark background with some attractive features to finish of. A peaceful spot so pleasantly shot, Congrats.

Esta fuente es una maravilla que nos vendria muy bien ahora en Madrid, que estamos a 41 grados, seria todo un exito el arriesgarse a refrescarse. Muy bien captada en esta imagen nocturna.
Buena perspectiva de la imagen, muy agradable a la vista.
Colorido, nitidez y luminosidad estбn captadas excelentemente.

It is INDEED a decisive moment, you time it so precisely that when the ejected water is at the peak, your shutter did the job ^_^

your long exposure paid off as the low light situation gave the type of brightness and crispy shot you wanted to present

It is like a hanging crystal trees (inverted)

the magic of this fountain arrangement lies in the option to use it instead of being limited to viewing. Running around on a random walk trying not to get soaked, that's fun - and only possible in tropical weather conditions (nothing for Europe, alas!).
Well taken shot, with sharp water jets although captured in darkness.

Hello Alexandre,

It must be a strange and exciting experience to travel through the fountain trying not to get wet.
Do many people manage to stay dry?

The fountain, especially with the lights, makes a magical scene, as the golden fountains spurt upwards like safe fireworks!
You have captured the scene extremely well, capturing details of people and dancing lights.
