Bust of Friar Leandro
Bust in bronze of Friar Leandro, first botanical director of the Garden in the period of 1824 until 1829. In its management it initiated the scientific organization of the "Arboreto" of the Botanical Garden, beyond the project of the alleys, construction of the Lake and "Cфmoro", where it is the bust in his homage, inaugurated in 1895 for Barbosa Rodrigues. Authorship of Ribeiro da Costa.

Й uma pena que as poucas estбtuas que nуs temos, se compararmos com os paises europeus, estejam em tгo mau estado de conservaзгo. Esta nгo й lavada hб muito tempo. Sua foto estб com boa nitidez, luminosidade. O blur ficou bem. Parabйns.

Hola Marcelo.
There is something that dislikes me. First say that I like how is blurred the blackground: giving more protagonism to the head. But there are so light that part of the head is white. And then we cannot see the head.
It is a pitty.
