In the interior of the big Axis, in a high part of the giant avenue, you can see this monumental fountain, located few meters far from the TV Tower, that was illuminated too, but it was so poor in visual effect, looking like a giant stairs of some mason, I gave up the idea to post it.
The first version of these fountains was inaugurated in 1967, but it was abandoned. The versions of 1998 and 2003 were abandoned too, and the fourth new version was created in 2010 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city.
The main jet reach 50 meters of height and the fountain is one of the ten largest of the world.
I was so frustrate because the effects of light in the fountain weren't so special for me, and the tower of TV was so bad adorned with lights and this was my best photo. I will show you an image of it during the day, almost at the end of my journey. I see this fountain everyday in the news of TV when they talk about the weather in the whole country.

No interior do Eixão, numa parte alta da grande avenida, está localizada essa fonte luminosa, mesmo junto da Torre de TV, que estava iluminada também, mas parecia tão feia como uma escada de pedreiro gigante, acabei desistindo de incluir na foto.
A primeira versão desta fonte foi criada em 1967 e anos depois, abandonada. As versões de 1998 e 2003 foram igualmente abandonadas. A versão atual data de 2010 e foi criada para celebrar os 50 anos de Brasília.
O jato de água principal alcança 50 metros de altura e a fonte é uma das dez maiores do mundo.
Fiquei frustrado pois os efeitos de luz e cor da fonte não me pareceram assim tão especiais como eu esperava. Mostrarei uma imagem da fonte quase no final dessa jornada fotográfica.
