Photographer's Note

Life there seems to be slower than elsewhere in the world. Surrounded by water, and around the river and reserving Paraguau relics like the old cigar factories, Cachoeira - BA is charming in its essence. People walk quietly through the streets and crossing the divide between the old iron bridge that connects the city to the municipality of Sao Felix.
The waters today with parades and quiet their boats waiting for fish, drained much of agricultural production (sugar, tobacco, corn ...) of Recncavo, the eighteenth to the nineteenth century. Proof of this are the cigar factories today have become showrooms of artworks and photographs.
