Photographer's Note

Arraial do Cabo is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Its population was 27,715. It was founded in 1503 by the conqueror Amerigo Vespucci.

Its geography made Arraial do Cabo an important and dangerous point in the age of sail. Since the Portuguese Navy arrival (1503) until nineteenth century many shipwrecks occurred. Due to this fact (and other biological factors) Arraial do Cabo is well known as the "Dive Capital".

The municipality operates the Ilha do Cabo Frio Biological Reserve, a fully protected conservation unit on an Atlantic island in the south east of the municipality. It contains the 56,769 hectares (140,280 acres) Arraial do Cabo Marine Extractive Reserve, created in 1997.

Hello Lucas,
The part of the beach nearest to the water looks too crowded for me, but what a great view you captured. The colours of the sea are beautiful, and I also like the patches of green closer to the street, where I see people on their way to the beach, or maybe leaving.The thin clouds are very nice too, and the photo is perfectly exposed.

Brazil is known for its attractive beaches, with the beautiful shining white sand and the colors of the sea.
Just as we see this place.
I like the picture space allocation from the shore to the hill "falling" to the sea and the ocean.

Hello Lucas,

I love the the turquoise colour of the sea. Good sharpness and a marvellous blue sky backdrop with nice cloud formations. The people seem to have abandoned the back of the beach and are all just on the edge of the water. Tfs!

a beautiful scene.
right away i like how the scene seems to flow from left to right. so much depth, so many colors, even the clouds look great. the beach is huge, as evidenced by the scale of people.

Lucas, the hill that overlooks the beach provides a splendid view of this place. The sea and the vast sandy beach attract a lot of visitors. Many activities were developed here due to the natural site beauty. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.

This looks like a beautiful beach, long and sandy.
Although there are quite a few people, the beach doesn’t look overcrowded, the figures just add to the pleasant atmosphere.
You have captured a wide panorama, revealing the proximity of the city to the beach and aquamarine sea.
