Photographer's Note

The Rio-Niteroi Bridge (Ponte Rio-Niterуi) linking Rio de Janeiro City to Niterуi City over Guanabara bay.

It is 13,290m (8.25 miles) long. The central span is 72m (236.22 feet) high in order to allow the passage of ships entering and leaving the bay. It is part of federal highway BR-101.

geralmente o pov para mostrar esta ponte ou й lateral ou й aйreo, gostei desta vista diferente, salienta, por um pov baixo, a grandiosidade da obra. aquele edifнcio circular й um bom elemento na imagem, bela avista da baнa e o cйu com boa luz. um belнssimo trabalho. me gusta mucho

diagonale che attraversa tutto lo scatto e POV basso che rende bene la grandezza del ponte .
Mi piacciono le luci e particolarmente quelle che illuminano le colonne.

Hello Paulo,
A very lovely photo of this famous bridge, you captured everything to make this an ideal photo, all with good sharp focus. I like the mountain peaks in the background.

I passed under the bridge quite a lot around 16 plus years go.
It was such a pity digital was not in use then. I had a camera the older prints style. On long sea passages film was not available,or had run out.

Finalmente dez minutos de paz em frente ao computador :)

Lindнssimas as cores, a diagonal com um ponto de fuga que ainda respira.

Devo dizer que gostaria de ver tambйm aquela com o фnibus amarelo, toda grafismo e cor. Fiz um WS com o que tive a oportunidade de ver naquele momento. Espero que goste e que contribua com as informaзхes sobre o lugar.

Such a best composition from below the brige to show its entire length which really provides a good feature to this scenic view of the Bay! Very impressive 13,290m long and I have never crossed a bridge as high as 72m clear span. Very well presented.

This is very good TE post of sharing your highway BR-101 system.

very impressive, excellent perspective view! the bright going to infinity...
This long, almost infinte, diagonal line of the bridge leads the eye directly to the opposite side and, together with that structure on the left, creates a very well balanced composition.
