I woke up early and went out to photograph Ouro Preto before breakfast at the inn. After climbing a steep slope and turning left, I noticed the sun coming right behind me. So I placed the tripod cover on the wall on the right, prepared the tripod and the camera and took this photo.

Acordei cedo e saн para fotografar Ouro Preto antes do cafй da pousada . Depois de subir uma ladeira нngreme e virar а esquerda percebi o sol saindo bem atrбs de mim. Entгo encostei a capa do tripй na parede а direita, preparei o tripй e a mбquina e tirei esta foto.

Superb shadow detail with perfect sharpness and a nice downward pov. The morning sunrise of a starburst sun provides a strong focal point. I like the small elongated chapel at left. Tfs!

Hello Ricardo,
In this weak light a tripod was probably necessary to achieve such a fine result of perfect sharpness. Seeing the sun barely rising above the hill it's amazing to find that there was enough light in the nearest street and on the roofs of the town. Despite the semi darkness it's a very clear and perfectly sharp photo with most details clearly visible. And the view as such is very pretty.

Hi Ricardo,

A well executed photo taken at just the right time as the sun rises above the horizon. The view is very attractive, with the buildings and cobbled street in the foreground and the church on the hill in the distance. Excellent sharpness and exposure.

Hello Ricardo,

The sun appearing over the wall of a religious building and casting rays out, like the points of stars, appears magical! I like how the cross is framed by a pink cloud, too!
I like the downward guide of the street, revealing the mysterious effects of the mist!

Hello Ricardo, even though the sun is just breaking the horizon, there is enough light to see the street and the surrounding hillsides that are covered in buildings.

Hello Ricardo,
I remember that Ouro Preto has many very steep hills inside the town.
Here you were just on time to capture the first sunrays over the houses.
Wonderful with the small chapel next to the rising sun.
Beautiful architecture.

Hi Ricardo,
In English they say "an early bird catches the worm"!
This is a spectacular sunrise photo. The spot itself is interesting with the stylish gate nicely off the centre. The road leads the eye downwards.
The sun was in a short moment between the horizon and thick layer of clouds from above.
You have captured it nicely with the star shape, so regular and nice.
Wonderful effect, so romantic, and of your usual excellent quality,
