Arthur Bernardes Bridge, a photo from Minas Gerais, Southeast

Photographer's Note

The first bridge built in Juiz de Fora was Arthur Bernardes, better known as the Halfeld Bridge. The 1923 building, in neoclassical style, linked for the first time both sides of Brazil Avenue to the most charming street in the city, Halfeld, where there was Footing, Cinema Sгo Luiz "in the golden times" and many famous shops. The luminaires and balusters gave a good finish to the building, which, over time, was forgotten and eventually deteriorated. Today the importance of the Arthur Bernardes Bridge has been recognized again and has already been restored. The original aspects were rescued, with the construction of posts similar to those used in the 1920s and a painting in soft tones, like the one of the time.

Ola Ricardo,
Attractive the lamp-posts with golden glow that influence the scene. Juxtaposition along the road and bridge added good sense of depth to the compo.
Evening by itsekf had a marvelous light condition, and combined with the already mentioned illumination - the result is a super-multi- colors.

Ils sont vraiment magnifiques ces lampadaires. Ils prennent toute la place dans cette belle rue et ils forment une trиs belle ligne de fuite.

A city scene with cars is not normally a lovely scene.

You made yours beautiful by including the beautiful lights, and the background hill and the foreground tree branch.
