Colour Sepia, a photo from Santa Catarina, South

Photographer's Note

This is a colour picture with some sepia pp. It shows the pier of the "Ostradamus Restaurant", Ribeirгo da Ilha, where they serve some of the best oysters in Florianуpolis, Santa Catarina State. Of course that they also serves all that delicious seafood, like fishes and shrimps. The restaurant is located in front of all that coloured houses showed in my last post.
I am also posting the original picture in the workshop area.

Hmm...I'm not sure which version I actually like more. The original is quite good with the strong colours, but the sky and sea isn't quite as interesting. The sepia gives a good feel for the clouds and water.

Regardless I like this photo and your perspective with the restaurant leading away from the right frame.

Interessante esse efeito Sйpia nessa imagem, apesar de um pedacinho do cйu ter ficado azul, foi proposital? Achei bom, gostei da silhueta da crianзa tambйm, alйm do maneira como fotografou o pier, leva nossa visгo pro meio do mar!
Um cфco cairia bem nessa foto! hehe

Bonita perspectiva deste restaurante em Ribeirao da ilha. Gosto da opcao sepia, da silhueta da crianca e do grafismo.

Wonderful image in sepia. The framing is beautiful. I like the way, how you placed the jetty diagonally in the shot. The woman in the ground gives this some more life.

A nice variation from your bold tropical colors. Excellent photo and sepia rendition. The original looks great as well, though I like this one better. The sepia tone works better with the washed out portion of the upper sky. You do great work!

Nice to see you again after so long break. And I see, that it has changed a bit here since my last visit. Last photos I remember were... err, some kind of agro-views... :)
But here - very nice scene... with the thing I miss most nowadays - water!!

Gostei do sepia aqui Zeca. Nгo sei porque, mas acho que um outro ponto de vista daria mais dramacidade a cena, tentaria algo na vertical, pegando apenas parte do pier e mostrando mais o fundo, fiz um ws para te mostrar o que quero dizer.
Deve ser um local gostoso para tomar uma cerveja e comer um bom peixe assado. Tenho gostado muito dessas fotos de Santa Catarina Zeca, nгo vejo a hora de poder fazer uma viagem para conhecer esses locais que tem mostrado de forma excelente.

A composicao esta muito boa e esperando o momento oportuno para ter esta menina passnado por debaixo do pier foi otimo, Zeca. No entanto o especial desta foto esta no seu tratamento PP. Algo diferente e bastante original. A comparacao com o original mostra o quanto vc valorizou esta imagem. Gostei mesmo muito.

Excelente composicion en un tono sepia, esta muy bien capatada y el muelle presenta una gran perspectiva, me gusta mucho los efectos del verde y amarillo y las nubes de tormenta con su reflejo en el agua. Tu imagen # 1 del WS tambien la encuentro magnifica.
