Photographer's Note

This is my first b&w post to TE, and it is not because I dont like it... I just love colours and most of my pictures looks better with colours.. at least for me.
I like a lot to see b&w pictures and I feel that it is specially nice to enhance details and to increase contrast, playing a little bit with the image and... sometimes taking it a little bit more than real image. So, this is something I pp to overexpose the waters (sea was not great, because it was grey), calling all attentions to the two men and their canoe, and after it I work to convert it to b&w.
They are people who lives in the Guaratuba bay, with almost nothing at home, but their little agriculture and fishing, just enough to survive.
This canoe is handcarved in one piece of log. If you look with attention, you will sse that they have the canoe tail ahead and the bow at their back, since they use to drive it with the bow or with the tail ahead, it doesnt matter.
Best regards,
