Arembepe is about 30 km from Salvador, in the north. You can get there by the Green Line, the road that links Salvador to Aracaju. The most famous hippie village in Brazil is a district of Camaari, the city where beautiful beaches and one of the largest petrochemical hubs in the country. Her beauty has enchanted personalities such as Janis Joplin and the Bahian News, which made ​​long stays there during the 60 years of the twentieth century. Several rustic cabins spread over an area surrounded by the pond and the River Capivara natural pools formed by reefs from the beach. A praia, alm de possuir guas cristalinas, tambm abriga uma das mais importantes iniciativas de proteo ambiental do Brasil, o Projeto Tamar, com reas cercadas para proteo aos ovos das tartarugas marinhas. O passeio a Arembepe vale a pena, tanto pelo clima de paz, quanto pelas diferentes opes de lazer que o lugar oferece.
