Photographer's Note

Located in the historic heart of the capital city, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is one of the main jewels of Argentine colonial architecture.

From the beginning of its construction, in 1580, to the last details added by the renowned artist Emilio Caraffa in 1914, various architectural styles have been reflected in its design. Conceived as a major temple since the foundation of the city of Cordoba, the Cathedral Church is one of the most representative icons of the capital of Cordoba.

This Cordoba is not in Spain, but in Argentina! Wonderful gold and blue colour combination at blue hour. Good sharpness and the people add scale. Tfs!

The yellow and white illumination creates a good strong contrast with the blue sky.

I have photos from this cathedral, but during the day. this nocturne view is very beautiful, contrasting the blue sky against the golden hues of the cathedral.
