This is my second attempt to photograph the moon. From the pic I posted yesterday, I received comments about the ‘chromatic aberration’. This time I’ve made some slight alterations in Photoshop (I adjusted the brightness and colour balance) to reduce its effect. Beyond that, it’s been cropped and sharpened.

Hi Tony,
this is amazing, I like this image of the moon very much, it is so clear and so majestic... I like the fact that it disappears in the black. the craters on the moon surface look great! I have a similar image of the moon here on trekearth but mine is not so clear:)

Very nice moon shot. Besides the details, the tone is very attractive. The composition is also very well managed and the large dark left side works perfectly.

This is one of the best moonshots I've seen so far. Pretty impressive that this short exposure was sufficient! I really ike the off-centering(does that word exist?)
