Photographer's Note
Please open each photo in a new tab for the better version. For the final series of photos from this revisit to New Zealand's South Island in 2011 - the spectacular Nugget Point.
The point is a steep and long point sticking out into the Southern Ocean. The main photo shows how the point got its name with the group of "nuggets" in the sea beyond the point.
The 2 WS photos give you more of an idea of the actual point where walking tracks snake along the steep sides.

Good day Ian
Thanks for posting these photographs of beautiful NZ landscapes. My favourite is WS photo #2, which not only explains where the name 'nugget point' came from, but also brings some pleasing greenery to the view. Colour of water on that photo is also beautiful.

Hello dear Ian and have a nice day
I like the way these stones are placed
into the sea...everybody has the idea
of these are fallen stones from the sky...

Hello Ian,
This could be a place for an extreme sports competition, swimming to each nugget and climbing them. It's an interesting view although both WS give us a better idea of the area.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Ian,
This one certainly has a feeling of being on the far end of the earth. Bare rocks sticking out of the rough sea. Workshops are impressive too. I think my choice would be WS #1 as it is more colourful.

Hi Ian,
I appreciate the way the waves are hitting the rocks. The point of view is showing the details of the Nugget Point. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ian,
I really like the name of this place it is really self explanatory, ha ha
You presented this point from three different angles which allows us to beter imagine the context.
Excellent series,

Hello Ian,
Three fine photos of these nuggets. My favorite is the one with the lighthouse, it shows both the rocks in the water and the steep cliff.

Hello Ian,
Nugget rocks indeed, with a little imagination given name to the place.
Beautiful photo from a higher pov, needs a mundane object for a good scale to appreciate the size of those.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike
