Photographer's Note

Please open both photos in new tabs for the better versions.
Our stay at home lockdown has finished and we can travel between regions in the state (but not to Sydney) so we have been able to visit our daughter and grandsons for the first time in 6 months. We returned via the central west of NSW where things are very quiet as Sydney folk cannot visit regional New South Wales yet.
Denman (a new location for TE) is a pleasant old town in the upper Hunter River valley and has a couple of great old pubs.
The one in the main photo, The Royal Hotel, dates from 1913 whilst the workshop one, The Denman Hotel, dates from 1900.
There had been a much older hotel beside the river but it got washed away in a flood.
