Photographer's Note
There is a "road" in Willandra National Park that takes you out to a small lake (it even had water in it). The road surface is of the red soil of the area. The tank in the photo was used for to supply water to watering trough for the sheep. Just after the road disappears in the photo we came to a very wet and sticky patch. Fortunately I was able to get the car out of the mud without any pushing. See the workshop for a photo of the car after the mud.

Hello Ian
A peaceful 'only to be found in Oz' scene. Well it was peaceful at that moment but you explain that things were about to change. Rich colours and the diagonal track leads the eye into the distance - and into the mud! Tfs the photo and your story, Marlene

Hello Ian,
I am amateur of extent deserted, but nonsterile, like this landscape that you show us. I like the composition with the way. I like the typical landscape. I have a first cousin who lives in Perth, where the landscape is perhaps similar. Good realization. Cheer.
Have a nice day
Cordially
Joël
