Photographer's Note
The dominant feature of the far north Queensland city of Townsville is Castle Hill.
Views in all directions can be enjoyed from several different vantage points. The city & suburbs, Magnetic Island close by in Cleveland Bay & way north to Cape Palleranda.
The hill is also a challenge to the fitness fanatics who use the access road for training runs or walks. Another route to the top is shorter & much rougher, aptly named "The Goat Track".
