The cityscape and sunset colors alone make a beautiful capture, but the reflection on the wet sand and that you caught the kid in mid air is exceptionally brilliant. Beautiful golden brown tones, beautiful architecture and excellent silhouettes bringing life to the scene. I love this, thanks for sharing.

A fine beachside series, Kari. This is one of my favourites. Just enough light, very atmospheric. And the jumping kid is a winner!

PS: I am a big fan of cropping, especially if it is boring sky. With my schooner posting, I even thought about cropping out the American flag to avoid thoughts of our military.

Hi Kari,
lovely sunset photo filled with action and very alive. Love the lights and colors. Reminds me of Jumeirah beach in Dubai somehow, just a bit more down-to-earth.

another sweet looking shot with all that atmosphere and moody colors/tones.
love that pinkish rosy color in the sky, works well with the high rises dominating the view.

Hi Kari,

The silhouetted characters and the colour of the sky provides a very special mood, as well as the wet sand catching the reflection.

I have to admit that I probably wouldn't had the idea to shoot along the beach under these light conditions, but the result is excellent, with an unusual mood and a scene that stands out from the ordinary beach photos.

No matter where you go, there's always a McDonald's sign that impose itself in the background... :-p))

very nice flagrant with the boy flying. I liked the hues of the end of the day and its light with these big buildings and people enjoying the moment. a beautiful compo. TFS.

Great shot - love the light and the colour tones. But what really catches my eye is the little boy you caught jumping mid air in the foreground. Well done.
