Colourful Bunch, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Its mid summer and the grapes in the vinyards are just beginning to ripen. This colourful bunch attracted my attention as its grapes are all at different stages. They reminded me of Christmas balls. I dont know the variety.
The vinyard is a relatively new one called "Crooked River", near Kiama.

Incredible rendition of the grape texture...and they look so cool and refreshing with the surface moisture you captured.Just a bit too much light on the right background.
I don't know if I should give away my secrets for beating unbearable summer heat,but here is a wonderfully refreshing "heat wave" treat: Take a bunch of grapes like this and throw them into your freezer early in the morning and bring them out in the afternoon and chew on them to savour the very cool sweetness:-)

Very nice this bunch of grapes of different colors. The too bright upper corner is maybe a little disturbing but in some way it shows that this was a hot day and the grapes are well protected in the shade of the leaves.

I never realized that grapes were so colorful. Their soft colors are very appealing. The bright area is a bit disturbing, but it was not the first thing I noticed about the photo. What caught my eye were the grapes themselves. Well done.

Great closeup, Chris. It's fun to explore how different the color tones of those directly adjacent grapes are, and the moisture you captured on their skin looks great also. The bright area ... well it is a bit distracting but not too much. I think Nina found a nice wording as to how to view it.

Thank you Chris for this delighful pic. I go immidiatly drink a glass of good french wine. Perfect technic. Same framing as your pink flower.

Those colors are wonderful. It is just a pity that the right is overexposed and a bit distracting. I tried a WS and hope you will like.
Picture is also veru sharp. Nice job.
