Photographer's Note

Here is another picture from Grand Tetons National Park. The water is the Snake River and we are at the Oxbow bend area. The Snake River gets very wide at this point. This was taken early in the morning and you can see a bull moose sitting there. Eating aquatic vegetation is one of a mooses favorite things to do.

From what I hear this spot can be quite crowed at sunrise on a weekend. I was actually on my way to Yellowstone at this point but I decided to pull over for the obvious reasons. I will post a workshop showing a close-up of the bull moose for all those interested. I tried many different shots here and I went with a tighter crop but at some point I might post a wider shot. I thought since you could see the moose better here made it the better shot. Taken around 9am.
