Photographer's Note

This was a capture from the T.E. meeting hike up Lundy Canyon toward Lundy Falls. There were larger falls below and above this area, but the arangement of this landscape, though less spectacular, appealed to my artistic sensibility (as did the shade of the tree I was able to stand under, after the long hot uphill hike, while setting up this shot). While I did not use a tripod, I probably was leaning on that shade tree and using it to steady the camera. I try to use as small an aperature as I can , while keeping the shutter speed above 125, in order to get the best DOF in combination with the least motion blur, when shooting landscapes.
