Purisima Creek trail race held in Huddart County Park in Woodside, Ca. Woodside is one of the wealthiest towns in the US. Shirley Temple-Black retired to this pleasant town a few miles south of San Francisco and a few miles north of Silicon Valley.

Trail races are always challenging because they are anytbing but flat and they take place on hiking trails. They can be quite dangerous. I was talking to one runner who told me that she had previously been on a trail race where she fell off the trail and broke her shoulder. She had to hike 5 miles to get help.

Steve, Good to see how you do bush walking over in USA. Good composition showing how tall the trees are and the good quality of the track. This looks an excellent place to keep fit. Having two walkers in the photoo brings the human interest to it, sometimes a good thing. Good work.
