Photographer's Note

This view is looking up at the pylon that supports the cables supporting the bridge. The bridge are of structural steel and cladded with white aluminum. The sweeping lines and proportion of the pylon is very well studied.

PP Work: Adjust levels control; Increase saturation; Sharpen: Remove noise; Convert to black and white; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting.

Excellent perspective! I like the way you find a perfect place to take picture from. I would not mind if this picture was in colour wuth nice blue sky. Grain is visible, is it the matter of postprocessing (big digital zoom)?

Hi Andre. A well-framed and elegant architectural detail (almost an abstract) of this beautiful bridge. The curving shapes are well shown, and the b&w is a good choice in terms of enhancing the interplay of lights and shadows.

Great angle on this structure. I like the combination of the curve of the pylong and the straight lines of the cables. This gives it a unique and beautiful look. Well done!
