Photographer's Note

Probably my last photo for this travelogue--for a while anyway. I took about 10 rolls of film (or the ditigal equivalent) on my journey, and had to upload my photos to my laptop frequently.

On my way home, I realized that I had been so intent on photographing the salt flats and the lake and the mine, I really hadn't paid any attention to the lovely mountiains (pronounced "ochre") directly south of me, so I travelled a few minutes until I found this scene.

I liked the subtle swirling pattern in the clouds here, and the stark green against the very dark rock that make these mountains distinct and unusual for this area.

May I just say thank you for your patience and critiques as I learn and grow on TE! I'll try not to have such lengthy travelogues in the future!
